I don’t remember wearing overalls as a child. But, I wore them while I was pregnant. And my children wore them, and now my grandchildren get to wear them. There is nothing more hardy or more comfortable for doing farm work then overalls

.

When my grandkids come to visit I have overalls waiting for them. City clothes just don’t work well on the farm. The grandkids seem to like the overalls while they are here. I think it is just part of the “farm” experience.

    The extra pockets are great. As I type this, Sparky is hunting through the pockets of my overalls. She loves them too. She is my kind of bird

Overalls are great when taking walks also. We have tons of super yummy blackberries on our property that send out lots of little tripping vines. The thicker denim material seems to help protect your legs and doesn’t snag like stretchy city pants do.

Sometimes when family or friends comes I don’t have the right sizes to fit everyone. So some end up with high-waters or supper baggies.



Even Baby Bear has Overalls!

I always keep my eyes open for overalls for sale at the Salvation Army. I want to make sure the closet is stocked with different sizes that way no one will be left out when they come to visit. Although, I know that some may “hope” to be left out. Hahaha

I know that overalls are not the most fashionable of outfits out there. But, come on, you are at the farm. On the farm you wear overalls! Right?
